Bay Area Sliding Door Repair, owned and operated by Jeff Anderberg, has been serving the San Francisco Bay Area for over 18 years. The company specializes in the repair and maintenance of sliding doors, with a unique expertise in handling both vintage and modern installations requiring custom solutions.
Despite their stellar reputation and deep technical expertise, their online presence didn’t reflect the quality and professionalism of their services.
Following security issues with their original WordPress site, the company had been operating with a basic temporary Squarespace site that served as little more than a digital business card. While this stopgap solution provided basic contact information, it failed to showcase the company’s extensive expertise, unique value proposition, and commitment to quality service.
That’s where Singlemind came in.
The Content Challenge
The primary hurdle wasn’t technical—it was about capturing and conveying the essence of a highly specialized service business. With Jeff constantly in the field serving customers, traditional methods of gathering content weren’t feasible. The project required an innovative approach to not only build a modern website for his business but also to effectively capture and communicate decades of expertise and a unique service philosophy.
The project demanded a delicate balance between professional presentation and maintaining the company’s approachable, family-oriented nature. It needed to showcase technical expertise while emphasizing the personal touch that sets Bay Area Sliding Door Repair apart in its market.

Our Approach
The journey began with an immersive review of Jeff’s existing website and his extensive collection of photos, amassed through years of work. Understanding his business was crucial, and these materials provided valuable insights early in our process. Given Jeff’s constant on-the-go schedule, we needed a creative approach to capturing his expertise—traditional sit-down sessions to type everything up simply weren’t feasible.
Drawing from our preliminary research, we created an extensive questionnaire exploring topics ranging from Jeff’s professional background and his family’s involvement in the business, to its origins, service offerings, and core values. Every day while he was out in the field, Jeff would find a few minutes here or there to record himself answering one or two of the questions. This happened a little bit at a time, but in the space of a few weeks, we had a rich library of authentic, expertise-driven audio content. These recordings were processed through an AI transcription system (Whisper), and then refined through multiple AI passes (using ChatGPT and Claude) to maintain his voice while creating polished, web-ready content – an approach that proved both highly efficient and cost-effective.
This innovative process allowed us to:

- Create a comprehensive content library
- Preserve the company’s personal touch
- Deliver exceptional value through generative AI
Design & Build
With content development underway, we focused on creating a visual presence that matched the company’s professional yet approachable nature. We selected a premium Webflow template specifically designed for service businesses and then customized it to align with Bay Area Sliding Door Repair’s existing brand elements.
The Build phase focused on creating a seamless user experience while building for future growth. This included adding bespoke animations to make content delivery feel organic, implementing proper SEO foundations, and ensuring the site would support upcoming advertising initiatives.

- Family-oriented imagery highlighting personal service
